About Us

Hamra Homes is a leading residential home building company based in Adelaide’s northern suburbs. The company’s philosophy is ‘affordable innovative construction’, so the customer knows they will be getting the best in design at a price they can afford.

Hamra Homes was established in 2003, and is part of the Hamra Homes Group, which includes the upmarket development arm Inspired Living Homes. The community-minded developer has built hundreds of homes across South Australia, and the company is expanding at a rapid rate.

Hamra Homes Group was the only South Australian business to be recognised on the 07/08 Housing Industry Association’s 100 Fastest Moving Companies report ranked 13th in Australia, and the National Housing Industry Association (HIA) top 100 builders’ list.

Hamra Homes Group jumped from 13 to 12 on the South Australian HIA top 100 builders table in 08/09 placing the company firmly in the State’s top 15 builders with the largest market share. The national HIA Housing 100 placed Hamra Homes Group at 79 in the latest list compared to 83 the previous year.

Hamra Homes is proud of its strong relationships with stakeholders, including local councils and state governments, the public and the Housing Industry Association. These solid relations come from a shared vision that everyone should be able to afford their own home.

Multi-Award winning Hamra Homes Group won the 2008 HIA-CSR Housing award for Display Homes in the $300,000 to $400,000 category, and the ‘Residential Lifestyle Development Award’ at the 2009 HIA-CSR Housing Awards for the Winzor Retirement Estate at Salisbury.
Hamra Homes is the major sponsor of the Salisbury Christmas Carols held annually on the first Sunday of December. Hamra Homes also has a 10-year deal for the naming rights of the Central District Football Clubs home ground renaming it Hamra Homes Oval. The company gains great satisfaction in seeing the community benefit from these projects.

With all this at hand, construction has also commenced on 14 display homes across Adelaide’s leading developments such as Lightsview, Blackwood Park, St Clair, Blake’s Crossing and Playford Alive and Port Hughes worth $11 million for the Group’s Inspired Living Homes and Hamra Homes brands.
The Hamra Homes Group is expanding its target market from not only the northern suburbs but across South Australia including St Claire development in the western suburbs of Adelaide all the way up to the Playford Alive development in Munno Para West which is considered to be the biggest development in SA’s history. The most recent announcement of The Dunes at Port Hughes display’s is in line with Greg Normans golf course set to have its first 9 holes complete and ready to be played by the end of the year. The much anticipated and exclusive golf course will be a huge feature attraction for the copper coast.

All this is supported by the confidence that the Hamra Group places in the South Australian housing market.
